BESPOKE STOOLS FOR FITZROVIA CHAPEL
Bespoke stools were designed, produced, and installed at Fitzrovia Chapel, London. The design draws directly from the chapel’s mosaic floor patterns, with fabrics carefully selected to reflect the colours of the tiles—an approach made possible through bespoke production.
Originally created for an art exhibition featuring sound-based work, the stools invited visitors to sit or recline while immersing themselves in the layered experience of sound, light, and scent within the historic space. Following the exhibition, the chapel retained the stools for ongoing use.
Each cover was tailored precisely to the stool structure, with a concealed zip and drawstring underside allowing for easy removal while maintaining a clean, fitted appearance.
