CURTAINS & SEAT REUPHOLSTERY FOR THE GUN
Two sets of bespoke curtains were designed, produced, and installed, alongside seat reupholstery work, for the reopening of The Gun in Hackney. The project introduced velvet curtains to both the ground and first floors, while the existing banquette seating was refreshed with new leather upholstery.

On the ground floor, a pull-up leather was selected to match the original back panels, which were retained to preserve the venue’s traditional character. The curtains were made in deep green velvet, continuing the rich material palette throughout the space. Lined with thermal, fire-retardant fabric and finished in double pinch pleats, they frame the entrance with a full, luxurious appearance.
In contrast, the first floor was designed to feel lighter and warmer, offering a softer, more relaxed atmosphere. The windows were dressed with wave curtains for a cleaner, more understated look. While rendered in a dusty pink tone, the same velvet fabric as the ground floor was used, maintaining a cohesive identity across the pub.
