CUSTOM RETRACTABLE AWNING FOR MAAR
Retractable awning with custom stripes for nursery goods and book shop "Maar" in Gotokuji.
The stripes were designed to give an impression that the shop is cultural, but also child-friendly.
Bright, neutral colors were selected to maintain a welcoming and fun look, without sticking out of the neighbourhood aesthetic.

The shop name was placed at the center as a sign, with stripe widths adjusted so the pattern would not interfere with the lettering.
The awning can be easily rolled up and stored with a detachable handle.
