
MESH TUNNEL FOR LIBRARY IN GIFU
Fabricated and installed the “Kinkazan Cocoon” for a new area within the Gifu Media Cosmos library in Gifu, Japan.
Two layers of flame-retardant mesh net fabric were overlapped to create a visually intricate pattern.
The large holes of the open-structure fabric was selected to ensure sprinkler functionality was not obstructed for emergencies.
The on-site installation included tensioning the fabrics to fit the frame perfectly.
